The school has gone through a lot of transformation processes dating back to when apartheid was very brutal and as such has produced many outstanding:

• political leaders,
• business people,
• academics,
• administrators ,
• and ordinary citizens.,

At the moment of putting together this document, the school is engaged in a long process of bringing together all former students and teachers in an attempt to rebuild it. In the light of that and until after the establishment of a Former Student Association, the exact year of its establishment is not yet confirmed but some archives show that the school was already in existence by the early forties.
